Various forms of poetry, by Hannah Nicholson

Haiku:
Bright, colorful leaves
Falling gently to the ground
Autumn has arrived

Tanka:
Flowers start to bloom
The crisp weather is over
Hope is arising
Goodbye winter, hello spring

Cinquain:
Dancers
gentle, graceful
leaping, twirling, pointing
They are highly motivated
Athletes

Quatrain:
She questions everything in sight
The sky is the limit when it comes to learning
The toddler wants to become very bright
When she is captive in her crib she finds it very concerning.

Limerick:
There once was a man who had a scare
Screaming and yelling ‘Bear!’
When everyone came
They all put him to shame
For all he had seen was thin air.
